Group Leader Guide

This simple guide explains what group leaders need to provide, how to moderate prayer requests, and what changes can break your group page. Everything here is designed to help you steward your prayer group with clarity and peace.

1. What You Need to Provide

A. Group Name
This appears at the top of your page and in the list of groups.

B. Banner Photo
A simple, meaningful image that represents your group. Horizontal photos work best. Avoid text-heavy or copyrighted images.

C. A Google Account
Each group uses one Google Form and one Google Sheet. You may use your personal Google account or create a group-specific one.

2. How Your Group Page Works

Your group page is built from three parts:

Whenever someone submits a request, it appears automatically on your page.

3. How to Moderate Your Content

You have full control over your group’s prayer requests.

To remove objectionable or outdated content:
1. Open your Google Sheet
2. Find the row you want to remove
3. Delete the row
4. The change appears on your page immediately

You may delete spam, inappropriate content, duplicates, or old requests at any time.

4. What You Can Change Safely

You may safely change:

5. What Will Break Your Page

Do NOT change the column headers in your Google Sheet.

They must remain exactly:
Timestamp
Name or Alias
Prayer Request
